Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Regional Centre Srinagar has been a pioneer in providing accessible and quality higher education to learners across Jammu & Kashmir since its establishment in 1999. Initially starting with just 4 programs and 1,000 learners, the centre has grown exponentially, now serving over 50,000 students through a network of 45 Learner Support Centres (LSCs), Programme Study Centres (PSCs), and Special Study Centres (SSCs).
